Parse error: Unclosed

Issue with the current 24.03 build that came out today. This is showing on the login page after install and subsequent reboots:
"Parse error: Unclosed '{' on line 454 in /usr/local/www/guiconfig.inc on line 1239"
Also, the past few updates show "Unknown firmware" on my 6100 MAX.

I got this as well on by 6100 base model. I'm assuming cabling into the device still works, so hopefully theres an easy way to fix this or just an update.

@behemyth It's just seems to be the GUI that's broken. You can always connect to your 6100 base via console cable and change back to the previous boot environment during the boot sequence. I wish there was a way to do this via SSH, so this will have to wait for me.

@DefenderLLC OK, I hadn't gone upstairs and plugged into it yet to verify cable works still. Thats good to know.
not having the gui isnt a huge deal, ill just wait for them to post a quick fix, or the next update and ill just run it from the command line.

We're both in the same boat. We'll need access to the GUI to perform the next update unless they can tell us what to edit in that file. I haven't had a chance to even look at it yet. Probably just a typo or missing closed bracket or something simple.

@DefenderLLC You shouldn't need the GUI to do an update. You can run updates from the command line. Its like option 13 or something.
You can also use the bash shell to do updates from repos, but its a little more involved.

@DefenderLLC Just so you know, I did the latest update from 1600, and it completely broke my install. Kept erroring out saying that it didnt have space for files, and finally just stalled. I had to recover back to 23.04.1 tonight.
So be wary.

Sorry to hear that. What I was referring to earlier is the ability to boot from one of the previous boot environments from an SSH session (setting the next boot) just like you can do from the GUI. That would save me having to go down with a console cable and doing it that way. #AintNobodyGotTimeForDat
