Tunables over-restrictive for mellanox cards

It is impossible to set valid (and necessary in my case) tunables for Mellanox ConnecX family due to regex

"The value may only contain alphanumeric characters, -, _, %, and /."

whereas Mellanox has regular tunables for FEC masks such as:

dev.mce.0.conf.fec.mask_10x_25x="1 1 1 0"

which sets the FEC to "off" for 10G/25G operations.
