My setup has been good for a long time until recently when I tried to connect to my vpn server would failed. I used the following guide https://nguvu.org/ when first started and over time beefed it up but the base help me a lot to understand how pfsense works. Along the way I also based my openvpn server based the Roadwarrior he had.

Everything worked, in prior versions before 2.6 no issues. I also have a port forward on https to a proxy (don't hate it works for me) anyhoo my RW also used https instead of the default 1182. For the longest time it work and past 2.6 it began to fail and in 2.7 it did not work.

It never dawn on me that using https for both would cause the other not work correctly, I was just lucky it worked.

I am going to try wireguard as it seems like a faster.
