    Anytime I install pfBlockerNG it slows down my internet speed. Can someone give me the steps for the optimized settings?

      Hello All,

      I am new to pfBlockerNG and anytime I install pfBlockerNG it slows down my internet speed. Can someone give me the steps for the optimized settings?

        @BobAce by itself it doesnโ€™t slow down anything since itโ€™s not in the traffic flow like Suricata etc. What are you blocking with it? Are you using DNSBL?

        Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
        When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

          @SteveITS Thank you. Yes, all default configuration, but it slows my internet speed by 45%. Yes, I am using DNSBL. Please see the attached pics.

            @BobAce So just feeds? How much RAM is used/free in your router? What CPU is it? And what is your ISP speed normally?

              @SteveITS Thank you so much! Please see attached. But I think wired connection to my internet is much better, wireless slowed down.

                @BobAce are you using pfSense as your access point? Usually external is better.
