XG1537 and OpenVPN
-
Good Morning!
I am newish to the pfSense world, and our company is running on a newly acquired and configured SuperMicro 1537.
I have three VPN servers stood up (one of each use case). Two are full tunnel VPN's, and the other is a split tunnel.
Outside of standard web browsing if they are on a public wi-fi, they will just be accessing some basic internal servers.
I will be letting them know not to do any streaming.
I was wondering if anyone has any information on how many concurrent users they are running over OpenVPN? I am looking for a maximum of 30 concurrent users, with most of them using a full tunnel.
Thanks in advance!

There is not a real limit regarding the number of concurrent OpenVPN clients in pfSense.Just each connection needs some system memory. But 30 will not bring your hardware to the limits at all. There are pfSense installation out there, which treats hundreds concurrent connections.
