DNS setting not being observed in Beta and now in RC

    System | Advanced | Networking | IPv6 Options | IPv6 DNS entry | Checkmarked - Do not generate local IPv6 DNS entries for LAN interfaces and an entry in Status | Dashboard | DNS server(s) shows ::1 . This didn't show in the last stable version.

      That's not what that setting does. It prevents resolving the firewall hostname to a trackv6 interface IPv6 address.

        Even if I disable IPv6 completely for the firewall, this entry still shows. Sorry for my lack of knowledge.

          There is still a localhost IPv6 address even if the firewall is blocking all IPv6 traffic. If the firewall is set to use localhost for DNS i will show there.

            So this was fixed in the Beta and obviously carried over to the RC. It never showed up for me prior to the Beta. Thank you for taking your time to explain this. I appreciate it.
