Cant create or edit aliases.

i have a few aliases running which are working.
when i want to create a new one it does not allow me it gives an error.
The following input errors were detected:is not a valid network address, FQDN or alias. is not a valid network address, FQDN or alias.i tried to edit a excising alias just the description to test.
i get the same error.
im running the latest pfsense version 2.7.1 -
@musicwizard Actually 2.7.2 is the latest.
Are you saving the page with a blank field maybe? It looks like it is trying to write a blank value at the beginning of the error.

i checked the update it said 2.7.1 but it was on previous stable selection. Updating now,
