    Hi,
On pfsense 2.7.2-RELEASE (amd64) with these packages only
    squid.jpg

the proxy works well on http and https. If I enable squidguard with restrictions, http woks and https gives SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG on firefox. As I read, it's the normal answer.

But on shell, with squid -k -check, I had warnings about directive cafile which I changed following [https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/15381#note-5](link url) but I still have another warning WARNING: Failed to decode EC parameters '/etc/dh-parameters.2048' OpenSSL-saved error #1: 0x1e08010c

Is it normal or do I have to change something else?

I heard about squid is deprecated because of security, is there another solution of a proxy.

      Hi,
      Is there not any solution?

@kabeda contact Squid's user support email address they can help you. I also have the ec decode errors with the latest version however it works for me.
