Snort wan rules

Hi, I have a doubt. When configuring Snort WAN categories, I am picking security for the IPS policies, and then I go to the WAN rules and pick IPS policy—security and hit apply. Up to this point, everything looks right. The issue starts when I go back to the WAN rule tab; it defaults back to autoflowbit rules. My doubt is, is this the way it is supposed to be, or should it keep the IPS policy—security pick I have done?

The RULES tab simply defaults to showing the first entry in the drop-down selector box. That has nothing to do with the rule set that is actually loaded. To see the loaded ruleset, choose "Active Rules" in the drop-down selector.
