      Hi,

      since upgrading to 2.7 all frr daemons crash when agentX support is enabled. A bit of investigation suggests that the current frr package is built without snmp support (manually adding -M snmp to daemon startup will result in an error because of the missing module).

      Is this a known issue / already being worked on / ... ?

      Regards
      Thomas

        @tbrettinger

        Do you mean this?
        https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/14491

        Netgate says its an upstream issue. Upstream says its an implementation issue with the package.
        No one is fixing it and in cases like these no one is willing to troubleshoot it.

        Firewall: NetGate,Palo Alto-VM,Juniper SRX

          @michmoor Yes, this is it.

          Actually, someone from frr seems to be assigned to it, however last ticket update was 6mo ago:

          https://github.com/FRRouting/frr/issues/14875

          At least it's recognized as a frr issue, how long after a potential fix until that arrives in pfsense however is another story.

          Regards
          Thomas
