Hi, please explain is it possible to use VLAN directly between 2 routers without any switch. If yes how to connect?
      First router pfSense
      Second router with VLAN support

Have additional interface on pfSesne. The primary idea to connect as VLAN AP wireless point. Should be better use interface as VLAN on pfSense? I mean without assigning physical interface?

pfSense plus 24.11 on Topton mini PC
      CPU: Intel N100
      NIC: Intel i-226v 4 pcs
      RAM : 16 GB DDR5
      Disk: 128 GB NVMe

Yes, you can have VLANs without a switch. Just connect the 2 devices with a cable and you can put what ever VLANs you want on it, though I'm not sure why you'd do that.

PfSense running on Qotom mini PC
i5 CPU, 4 GB memory, 32 GB SSD & 4 Intel Gb Ethernet ports.
        UniFi AC-Lite access point

        I haven't lost my mind. It's around here...somewhere...
