      Hello,

I'm using a Netgate 6100 with two UniFi U6 Pro and a self-hosted UniFi Network Server.

I would like to be able to have multiple SSIDs.

And each SSIDs have access to different subnets.

      For example :

      • One SSID for staff that has access to everything
      • One SSID for consultants who come to the office sometimes and may have access to some network ressources
      • One SSID for guests with access to Internet ONLY

      Is that possible?

I'm a beginner and I was looking at this and I thought most efficient way to do this.

My understanding is that it would be best set up a few VLANs in pfSense and configure them individually for what I want to do.

Is that correct? Or is there another - better way to do this?

If it is OK, then I'm unclear on how to "map" those SSIDs to my VLANS and would also need help with this.

      Thank you!

@BlazeStar you map the vlans you have setup in pfsense to the ssid you setup in the unifi controller.

And you would have to configure the switch port your APs are connected too.. I run multiple SSIDs that are on different vlans using unifi AP and the controller software.

          @BlazeStar hey there,
          as @johnpoz already mentioned:

          1. set up VLANs on switch and pfsense, make sure it is working
          2. create new networks with PVID (as set in 1.) on your cloudkey controller software (under networks)
          3. create (under wireless networks) your new wlan networks with ssid mapped to network > VLAN1, 2, 3 etc
            Done.
            :)
