      Good afternoon all,

I've got what will hopefully be simple.

I'm messing around with VLAN atm, figuring stuff out, I've got it work and all, but I want to know how it works in certain aspects.

This isn't what I'm here for anyway, but I'm wondering if anyone knows a simple command I can run that'll reset the DHCP for VLAN requests, because I'm changing the interface of the VLAN I set up to debug some things.

As right now, if for example I assign a VLAN tag to a server, and run dhclient -r / dhclient, it's able to obtain an IP within the VLAN group, but if I were to change the interface via pfSense side to another port for that VLAN and then change it back and then run on the server dhclient -r / dhclient, it's unable to obtain an IP, not unless I reset pfSense, so again, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a shortcut command I can run to reset what may be effecting the server from being able to obtain an IP?

I hope I made this clear, near bedtime for me! 😲
