      Hello everyone,

i have an existing WAN port with existing IP. 192.168.10.10 (igb0)

I have also an extra ethernet port on the pfsense device, i need to bridge with WAN. (igb0+igb3)

another device will be connected to this (igb3) to be on the same network of WAN with IP 192.168.10.11.

If i create a bridge (bridge0) between igb0 and igb3, ultimately we have 3 interfaces (igb0,igb3,bridge0). What interface should keep the IP 192.168.10.10 and what interfaces needs to be IP None , so we can achieve the specific switching ?

      any comments appreciated.

The proper way, when bridging an interface to an existing one, is to move over the IP settings to the bridge.
So the member interfaces should remain with IP setting "none".
