This is the result of the client connecting to the peer-to-peer OpenVPN network:

This is the result of my attempt to ping the virtual address 192.168.7.7:

With a successful connection of the client to the server, what is causing the client to not be reachable via ping?

If the clients firewall rules on the VPN interface allow access I'd expect the ping to succeed.
