      Dear Netgate product team,

I just wanted to express my disappointment to the Netgate team that you no longer support AWS nano instances at the reduced marketplace subscription cost. I use the product exclusively for a home / personal setup. Now that im forced to use a micro instance my monthly bill is 75 dollars more per month which is nearly a thousand more a year in Canadian currency. The nano instance allowed for an affordable balance for how it was used and the basic level of performance i needed. I don't understand why the micro instance subscription cost is so much more expensive when the performance and usage is not that outpaced from the old nano instances. I have been absorbing this new cost for most of this year now and i have to cut it off.

I understand the product has evolved and the nano instance is no longer viable, but the lack of adjustment to the subscription rate for micro to match is going to force me to discontinue use of the product in AWS outright. The end result is that i wont be paying anything to Netgate at all, rather then a reasonable amount for what i used it for and the performance is provided. i have been a supporter of pfsense for over a decade and i do not want to move away from it as part of my setup. However i have no choice, i cant afford the new forced pricing.

Thank you to the Netgate team for the product and the usage i have enjoyed over the years. Unfortunately as a paying subscriber i cant afford the cost anymore which was forced upon me as a result of the latest release.

      Thank you,
      Craig Middleton
