      Hi

      Am on pfSense ver 2.7.2 and recently updated pfBlockerNG to 3.2.0_18.

      I have a notification appearing every 2 hrs about needing to register for an IPInfo account if I am trying to use the ASN functionality of pfBlockerNG. There is a link from the warning that takes me to the ngBlockerNG IP config page, but I have always had the ASN functionality disabled and it continues to show " ASN Reporting" = Disabled in the drop down selection menu of the "ASN configuration" section of the "Firewall / pfBlockerNG / IP" page.

      Q: What else could be trying to activate an ASN download if I have the ASN reporting function disabed?

      Just trying to figure out how to prevent an accumulation of notifications for something that I am not intentionally trying to use.

      Thanks

        You need to set ASN Reporting to something other than disabled. Just pick the 1 hour option. With the new ipinfo data, the ASN Reporting option doesn't mean exactly the same thing anymore.

          @jrey Thanks for reply.

          I have not registered for, and am not inclined to register for an IPInfo token as I am not intentionally trying to do anything with ASN features.

          Isn't enabling ASN Reporting going to create more notifications, not remove the one I'm trying to get rid of?

          Thanks
