I noticed https://forum.netgate.com/topic/190734/sg-2100-w-ssd-safe-to-jump-from-23-09-1-to-24-03_1 has replies since my post a few days ago but I've received no email...in fact I don't see any forum emails after 10/31.
Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.
