from ssh session, which never has connectivity issues,
      i can select option16 (restart-php-fpm)
this remedies my issue, but only for a short while
last night i upgraded from 2.7.0 >2.7.2 with hopes of a resolution
      but issue remains
is there a package that agitates the webui that i should try deleting ?
cpu/mem are not an issue as i'm running on an old laptop
i am running some usb nics if they're known to be troublesome
any advice would be much apprecieatred

        SSH or console, run

        tail -f /var/log/system.log

What happens when the GUI (web server) dies ?

Hummm. USB networking .... I wouldn't even advise my worse enemy to use that solution 😊

FreeBSD (underlying OS of pfSEnse) a,nd USB NICs don't often play well.
Also, more general, the slights electrical miss contact on the USB NIC contacts will wreck havoc in the networking subsystem - interfaces get taken down, reconnect, etc etc.

No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
Edit : and where are the logs ??
