      dnsmasq cache defaults is 150.
I thought dns cache with 10000 would improve performance for clients.

for a day i have dns cache on squid of 2k for 1Mbps connection with only 4req/sec. (bec. of torrents  ;D)
anyway what about those who have more than 20-400req/sec

most dns server would response about 300ms but if cached it would only be 1ms. definitely speed up browsing.

may be an option would be great. since speed vs security is on opposite side.
