Offloading SSL in HAProxy to access NAS backend

Has anyone successfully configured SSL offloading in HAProxy (using a wildcard certificate) to access a Synology NAS backend via HTTP? Specifically, I’m trying to access the DSM interface on a non-standard port, such as 6800?
