      Hi zusammen,

      kurze Frage an alle: hat jemand Squid installiert und eine Plus auf 24.11 aktualisiert damit? Läuft euer Squid? Gab es Probleme? Jemand der von CE auf Plus upgedated hat und jetzt Squid laufen hat?

      Warum?

      Es geht um unser Finding hier:

      https://forum.netgate.com/post/1199891

      Aktuell sieht es so aus, dass das nur Leute betrifft, die von CE->Plus upgedated haben und vllt. vorher alte Pakete oder Squid hatten und jetzt dann da reinlaufen. Interessant wäre es also ob das auch Leute betrifft, die vorher KEIN CE hatten oder vllt. die vorher auch KEIN Squid hatten und bei denen aber trotzdem in /usr/lib eine alte libc++ Library liegt.

      Wenn da jemand was beitragen kann, gern Reply.

      Das Debugging war zumindest extrem langwierig und eklig, bis wir endlich die Stelle im Linker gefunden haben, warum das Service Binary nicht mehr laufen wollte, aber immerhin gibts jetzt nen Workaround :)

      Cheers :)

        @JeGr hey there,

        This issue with Squid after updating from CE to Plus seems related to old packages or a lingering libc++ library in /usr/lib.

        Users who didn’t have Squid or didn’t update from CE has not faced this issue.

        you can resolve this just by removing the old libc++ library in /usr/lib or reinstall Squid to ensure proper linking.

          We are not discussing the problem, my thread is about testing the hypothesis IF that is related to ONLY CE upgrades or if old Plus installations are also about to hit that at some point or not. :)

          As I debugged that problem in the original thread I'm very aware about the problem.
