Cron in GUI?
-
Various reddits and such mention cron in the GUI of pfsense (perhaps years old, I didn’t note the dates). Using the GUI/pkg manager to add cron did add cron (verified from CLI) but didn’t create a GUI entry. Is this expected behavior? If so, why?

@khb install the pfSense package from the GUI.

@SteveITS that’s what I did. I didn’t pkg install from the command line :>
Installed packages:
…Package Dependencies: php83-8.3.12 aws-sdk-php-3.273.3 Cron sysutils 0.3.8_5 The cron utility is used to manage commands on a schedule. darkstat net-mgmt 3.1.4 darkstat is a network statistics gatherer. It's a packet sniffer that runs as a background process on a cable/DSL router, gathers all sorts of statistics about network usage, and serves them over HTTP. Package Dependencies: darkstat-3.0.721_1 ```
