Wireguard client asking to open port on WAN

Hello, I'm using protonVPN and after checking firewall log to found, that wireguard source blocked on WAN. to port 51820. I made via easyrule new rule on WAN. But in doubt, is it required or not? Because client working perfectly and without this rule. Could this have to keep, is it safe?
