      Hello
      My conf :
      A local network with Pfsense, and some host (runing on Ubuntu VM or raspberry)
      On my local network all my VM have a hostname and I can reach them by ssh only with their short name
      => i.e. ssh home

      But when connected to my pfsense with OpenVPN the "home" name is not recognized.
      I need to conenct it with the following command
      => ssh home.mydomain.net

      Is it possible to have the same behaviour when connected with VPN as on the local networks ?
      => I did not find the option on Pfsense...

      Thanks

        @ewok2
        Did you provide a "DNS Default Domain" in the OpenVPN server settings?

        To avoid conflicts this is not set by default.
