      Problem on 1.2.2 and 1.2.3

Using the pfSense Captive Portal. I am getting the "Authentication error - Username and/or password invalid." message when trying to authenticate. The password is correctly submitted, but get the error everytime. RADIUS server reports incorrect password. Using m0n0wall, Captive Portal and RADIUS authentication works with no problems using the same username, password and RADIUS server.

      Any help would be appreciated.

You can run from console radiusd -X for debug.

have you same port in client (captive portal) and freeradius?

edited: change radius -X  for  radiusd -X

          Hi,

I also have the same issue.
When I try the command it says 'radius: Command not found'. To enter the command i selected option 8 on console.

          Please advise what to do.

          Thanks

            Hi again,

I think i got the solution.
The default ports are not the same on the CP and the Freeradius settings.
To get radius auth working, you need to enter ports manually and use the same port at both places.

            Hope it helps you all.

PS: I just discovered this tool and loving t more and more as i discover the features…. Well done!!!!
