Unable to run squid proxy server after upgrading from 2.7.2 to 2.8.0

I upgraded my pfsense proxy from 2.7.0->2.7.2->2.8.0, After successfully upgrade, i tried to run the service of squid proxy server but to no avail. i have already tried reinstalling, uninstall/install, reboot but to no avail. Has anyone of you here experience this kind of issue? hope you could help me.

@brcuewayne you can use the search on this forum, others got issues too with squid after upgrading:
Squid: "Undefined symbol "_ZTVNSt3__117bad_function_callE" after upgrade to 2.8
Maybe you are having the same issue?

@patient0 Thank you so much for the update. All of the possible options suggested in the forum didn't work in my pfsense. Does that mean we will be waiting for the updated version of squid?

@brcuewayne can you provide more details about error(s) you get when you try to start squid?
