we have a network with 15 SIP phones, linksys SPA942. the sipgateway is external.
I tried all the voip tips I found on the forum but never reached 100%, (in works, out not, out works, but no transfer, some phones work, some cannot login… etc)

I just don't have the time for the learning curve.

I can provide the errors I got so far, you can login on the box, and someone could make test calls on the network on our site.

we are based in the netherlands (GMT+1, but after hours test calls are no problem)

        Hallo Rob,

Can I assume that you have set the outbound NAT rule to "Static Port"?

Also, do not forget to clear existing states after applying the change, otherwise the older existing state will cause issues.

Not too sure about this one, but I believe a sipproxy package still exists out there. I'd need to check.

I'm using a Siemens C470IP Dect phone at work which traverses 2 pfSense systems, the external box with static port on the outbound NAT rule. It works for us, alsthough we dn't use that single phone much. It has a setting that refreshes the server contact every 120 seconds or so.

You might be able to get away with a stun server setting in each phone to help in setting up the call.

We are using unet as our SIP provider and we have had pretty good results so far with them.

yes, we did work with the static port setting enabled, and I tried the siproxd package too.
thanks for the tip of the states… should have known that earlier!
