So I have a set of hostname overrides in my DHCP server as follows

It works fine when I am on my local network. However, when I use OpenVPN to remote in, I cannot resolve any of the hostnames/IPs

I am providing a DNS server to my clients in the OpenVPN server config, and if I set host overrides in the DNS Resolver options at the bottom, my OpenVPN clients can resolve those hostnames (see below)

I would however, prefer not to do that because that requires the hostname.domain name resolution format, whereas I would just want to resolve a hostname.

      Any thoughts?
