      I am trying to replace older CE software on generic hardware. The goal is to have multiple vlans from a managed switch connect on port 1.
      I am sure the I am not getting the Switch and VLANs configured properly. But cannot understand what's causing disconnection when I apply a VLAN3 to the default LAN interface.
      When I am recreating the VLANs (2,3,9) on the new SG2100 I lose access to the webConfig 192.168.10.1 and DHCP after assigning VLAN 3 to the default LAN interface. DHCP is enable on the VLAN3 in the same scope as the original port config.
      Ideally:
      Wan: pppeo0
      Office (lan): mvneta1.3 -> v4:192.168.10.1/24
      Office (opt1): mvneta1.2 -> v4:192.168.15.1/24
      Office (op2): mvneta1.9 -> v4:192.168.16.1/24

      tia

        @bjks87322 the Netgate 2100 has a built-in switch, did you follow the documentation?

          @bjks87322 It sounds like your goal is to get the VLANs working on LAN? LAN is a 4 port switch as noted. The docs explain how to separate/isolate the ports. If you are trying to have them work on any port I think you need to add it on LAN Uplink, 5...step 19 in that doc. Though I haven't tried it so don't quote me. :)

          Office (lan): mvneta1.3 -> v4:192.168.10.1/24
          ...if you are trying to reassign LAN I think that needs to remain on port 5, the uplink?

          Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
          When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to reboot, or more depending on packages, CPU, and/or disk speed.
