I’m trying to create a nested (multi-hop) Surfshark VPN chain inside pfSense (running in VMware).
My goal setup looks like this:
      pfSense → [Surfshark VPN1 → Surfshark VPN2] → Internet
I’m a newbie and can’t find any clear step-by-step guide or video explaining how to do this from scratch.
I also want this network to be completely isolated — if either VPN1 or VPN2 goes down, there should be no connection at all (no DNS, NTP, or internet fallback through WAN). Basically, zero leaks and no failover to my local ISP.
Does anyone know how to properly configure this in pfSense or have a detailed guide?
