      hi folks,

while pfsense seems to be a class a product, the doc really needs
      work IMHO.

There is an article which points out that OpenVPN is disabled currently
due to problems with OPT Interfaces, but thats no problem for me
since i want to use it for roadwarriors on my WAN interface.

To activate OpenVPN, we should set the "developers tag" in config.xml
      as written here:
      http://faq.pfsense.org/index.php?action=artikel&cat=6&id=72&artlang=en&highlight=openvpn

But how to do that? I know how to use vi to edit the file, but what
exactly should i write? I cant find any pre-existing tag with the
      name "developer" or whatever…

If i get OpenVPN with my roadwarrios to work i will submit a better
      doc than the existing.

      thanks

The faq article is outdetad. We need to delete that. You don't need to enable openvpn with a hidden config.xml tag. Please upgrade to the latest snapshot ( http://pfsense.com/~sullrich/1.0-SNAPSHOT-09-18-06/ ) and retry following the openvpn documentation at http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Setting_up_OpenVPN_with_pfSense
