followed the guide on the website, I see the wifi network with my phones , tried both iPhone and HTC Hero. But when I connect it stay's
connected just few second( I get a Ip adress) then I'm d/c any ideas what the problem could be ?

      TIA

Anything "interesting" reported in the system log?

        What's a D-Link C adapter? Whats the pfSense device name for it (e.g. ral0, ath0, …)?

Log doesn't mean much to me.

Have you tried the WiFi without encryption? With alternate forms of encryption?
