      Greetings,
I'm setting a web server and this is what i did:
      default installation
      wan pppoe
      lan > 172.16.100.100
      web server > 172.16.100.50

      add rule
      open tcp on wan
      from all on port 80
      to 172.16.100.50 on port 80

I can't see my web server from outside the lan (ping timeout).
I tried other lan address but with no lucky.
I put the web server on another firewall and it works,
but with pfSense I can't see my server.
      What's wrong with my configuration?
      There's something I missed to open/unlock?
      Thx

Is this a firewall rule or a port forward?

            it's under firewall > rules > lan
I can post a more detailed rules if someone can explain me how to do that
            anyway what I got is:
            firewall > rules > lan
            action > pass
            interface > wan
            protocol > tcp
            source > any
            port > http
            destination > 172.16.100.50
            port http

You need both a port forward and a firewall rule.

This troubleshooting page might be of use:
