WAN type - DHCP vs StaticIP

Given: a working config with WAN DHCP  get assigned 192.168.2.5
I try: to change WAN type to STATIC IP and assign 192.168.2.111/
      gateway 192.168.2.1
Console confirms all is well, but I can no longer access WAN.

      Please help?

Check that you set the netmask to /24 (that's probably what you have with DHCP) instead of /32.

          Thanks!!!

Default subnet was 32 - which was the problem.
          Thanks!
