Interface mismatch, sis0 does not exist
-
I am running pfsense 1.0.1 LiveCD on a Dell Optiplex GX110 with its integrated network card and a DLink DWL-530TX.
After doing the initial interface configuration, I assign one interface to the LAN and the other to WAN, everything to this point works fine.
After any reboot, I get 'LAN sis0 interface mismatch – Running interface assignment option."
This appears to wipe out any configuration I have done on the other interface, and in effect starts me over new.
So far, I have tried moving to the configuration to a floppy disc, and this doesn't seem to help.
I seached the forums, and on google, and havn't found much with answers to this problem.
Any help would be great! Thanks!

Option 99 installs to the hard drive. Configuration is in ram otherwise on LiveCD and you need to use a USB key chain drive if you dont plan on installing.

Is storing the configuration on a floppy disc not advisable? I have a USB pendrive here handy, its 128 but this system doesn't support boot from USB.
Using Option 99, all that is given to me is "installation was not successful"
Thanks
