New Install, stuck at not being able to access WEBGUI
-
System:
Pentium 4 3ghz
Asrock P4M890
1GB
13GB HD
Onboard vr0 + 3 NIC, sis0, sis1, dc0vr0 = - VIA PHY VT6103
sis 0 & sis 1 = netgear fa311x2
dc0 = networkeverywhere NC100I also have D-Link DFE-530-TX, but i'm not using it right now.
So far, I was able to successfully install pfsense with the LiveCD version.
I assigned vr0 as WAN, sis0 as LAN and i plan to use sis1 so to be connected to my router a WRT54G in the future as a wireless access point so i set it as optional., along with sis 1.
I set the lan ip to 192.168.2.1/24. I enable DHCP server with range 192.168.0.100 to 192.168.0.200.
From my computer (windows 7), already joined in workgroup, i connected it to sis0.
From there, i can't seem to access to webgui w/ firefox or internet explorer with http://192.168.2.1
I actually got it to work once, and even set up my pppoe connection by not using any nics except the 2x fa311. However, i changed the hardware setup from there and haven't been able to emulate the results, even using just 2x fa311 fails to work.
DSL modem is set to bridge mode, however before setting up the WAN, i'd like to get LAN working first.
Any help would be deeply appreciated. First time setting this up and i feel like i made a very simple and obvious mistake.
P.S, less importantly: i plan to downclock the cpu to 1ghz or so and take out a stick of ram to have only 512mb. Would the hardware still be fast enough?

I set the lan ip to 192.168.2.1/24.
At this point, i have not been able to connect from firefox with http://192.168.0.1
Might this be the problem?
