I've been trying to get pfsense "talking" mesh with a WRT mesh network …
Almost everything is good ... but i would like to know if it's possible to avoid using a gateway in the WAN interface... a static gateway is not good for a mesh network !!
Is it possible to get a dhcp server working in that same WAN interface ???

it Would be good to have this 2 questions solved

You could switch LAN or OPT1 to be the wireless/olsr interface; or, enable the olsr dynamic gateway extension and it will overwrite your default route in the route table.

olsr + dhcp to non-olsr wireless clients (pseudo-AP), combined all on one wireless card…
