Lighttpd Error 500

Im running CP on WRAP and getting tons of error 500 when trying to login to CP…

lighttpd.error.log reads:

This is being done on a WRAP Board 128Mb Ram....

Limit is set to 4 on the Captive Portal Settings per user ip using 1.0 Release...

Is this a known problem?

Please upgrade to 1.0.1. Some cachesettings were tweaked to use less memory ( http://pfsense.blogspot.com/2006/10/101-released.html ). Also is there something special about your CP page or is it plain html with some small graphics?

Nothing special about it… it pulls graphics from an external server which leaves the WRAP to serve really the text parts of the page...

Anyhow im gonna reflash today so... ill see how well this new 1.0.1 works out..

using version 1.0.1 on wrap board...

I haveto login by ssh...
-> killall lighttpd
-> lighttpd -f /var/etc/lighty-webConfigurator.conf

To get back into web interface...

When the captive portal isnt running no error 500 on web configurator...

uptime shows..

uptime

1:50PM up 1:19, 2 users, load averages: 0.01, 0.78, 4.45

but when the captive portal is running load averages are 11 and higher, when i try to login to the web configurator lots of error 500...

My (rather expensive) solution… add another wrap board with m0n0wall use pfsense as gateway only and run captive portal on the m0n0 box...
Wouldve used m0n0 as all-in-one except they dont support cards that use the ath driver...

However with both wrap boards in place... it works great!!! :)
