      Dear All,

      Currently i have pfsense with open vpn and my xp clients connect through  Xlite 256-512K broadband connections.
      The problem is Call made fine but voice is choppy with delay .i am using G729 Codec(64bit) , My Certificate Authentication keys are 1024 bit

      Is SSL OPEN Vpn can sort out problem with lower encryption and decryption

      Hope::YES

      Then how i can configure SSL Open vpn in pfsense
      thanks and waiting .

        Adding the overheads of a VPN won't improve call quality, if anything it will make it worse.

        What you'll want to do is investigate QoS (Quality of Service) and traffic shaping.  That way you can ensure that the VOIP traffic gets priority over non-VOIP traffic.

          hi Havok,

          We require VPN connectivity for voip calls,as our isp dosn't allow voip packets .In this way i require VPN over SSL if it has low over head comparatively  to Simple VPN.

            Any VPN will have an overhead.  I can't find any product called "Simple VPN" it's hard to say much more than PPTP and IPsec should have slightly lower overhead than anything using SSL.
