Can't acces the webgui

  • when I attempt to open the webgui from the lan I have a timeout …
    I do a ping and ... timeout !
    telnet .... timeout !

It fell that pfsense don't accept anything at all .... Nevertheless my pc on the lan obtained a correct ip address and ipsense can ping it ... help me please (and sorry for my bad english)

  • take a look at the console. This will tell you the url you should access to get through to the gui - usually http://192.168.1.1/ or something similar.

    Maybe you tried https ?

  • no the address given by pfsense does'nt reply
I have changed the LAN inteface address and it's good …. magic ! lol
    thanks

  • Weird, I've got the same problem, I can't access the web GUI from Firefox locally, but I can access it from IE, however I CAN access the web gui with both IE and Firefox from the lan - Any ideas anyone? Rebooting doesn't help

  • not much info to go on

on the lan there is a default rule so that you can access the gui
on the opt1 interface you can if you have youre opt1 rules correct access it from the opt1 interface adress
from the wan only if you have setup a rule on the wan to allow the internet to have access to youre webgui

  • @jeroen234:

Yeah, I appreciate that, sorry :(

I can access via WAN with no problem at all, LAN I can access it from IE, but not Firefox

What other info would help to diagnose
