      anyone can tell me where can i get the vmware developer edition again ? i tried running the developer edition iso on vmware server but it wont boot stuck at reading boot block.

        Never ran into that problem. I've run the 1.0 developer iso, head developer, etc on vmware server, without any issues. You sure when you made the new virtual machine you specified freebsd as the os? If not do that.

        You can download the head developer iso http://pfsense.com/~sullrich/alpha_alpha_versions/pfSense_Developers.iso.gz

        I still have the 1.0 developer iso

          thanks for the reply. after much thinkering i found out the iso i downloaded was corupted checked the md5. sry for wasting ya time
