      Hi Everyone,

This isn't a pfSense question, however we have our heart set on using pfsense as the VPN endpoints.

We wish to deploy company wide wifi accross multiple sites. Each site will have a pfsense box acting as a VPN endpoint for access to central resources. What we would like though, is something a bit more substantial than simple putting up a WPA2 key up on our internal wiki. We would like authentication on a user by user basis, which uses a central server to authenticate.

Oh, and it also has to be free and open source :)

      Anybody got any ideas?

      Thanks

Sounds like you want to use Radius authentication. There are many free Radius implementations, you'll just want to ensure that you replicate it across each site.

You can use a central radius server with several radius proxies too…
