    Hello
    Would Pfsense will migrate eventually to django https://www.djangoproject.com/UI (which is cool and smooth) like Freenas  8 ,i saw that django is BSD license?.

        Not likely, since django is python and pfSense uses PHP. That would require rewriting the entire code base into python.

        (I like python, but not enough to ditch PHP for it when that much work would be involved!)

        There was some movement to get pfSense into a framework. It's too late for 2.0, but maybe 2.2 or 2.3 might make some progress that way. Last I remember the front runner was CakePHP.

                YUI http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/license.html also BSD license
                and works with PHP at my work place R&D developed complete  product for asset  media management based on yui thats operate & looks very nice.
