Hey all, i am having a problem. I have the captive portal enabled, and have put in a bandwidth limit or 1500 doan and 600 up.

I have this live now, and when i connect i do get the captive portal login page, but these limits are not working. strangely 2 days ago it was and i was excited to install.. did the install, and now its not bandwidth limiting.. Any ideas?

Also, with teh captive portal MAC addreess passthrough, i mean the addresses i add in to say can bypass the CP, does this bandwidth limit also apply to those users? or do i need to give them all individual limits?

Last question, with the MAC bypass clients.. these are all MAC addresses of my clients antennas (2,4ghz), which are in bridge mode.. if clients have an AP connected in Bridge mode also, will this MAC bypass limit apply to each user that connect from within that network?

Do client devices have the same MAC address as their bridges in your ARP table?

Sorry to sound ignorant but i don't actually understand that. By their Bridges are you talking about their Antenna?  I dont know what an 'ARP' table is, so not sure how to answer that.  At the moment i just have the clients Antenna MAC addresses in the Captive Portal MAC Bypass list, when a client connects, it doesnt give them the login page, so i assume that the MAC Bypass is working, as i have taken one out and tested, and then they do get the login screen.  Its just that, the settings set in the rate limiting section doesnt work.  I set it to 1500/500, go to a cliet and test and then get 3000/1500 or something like that.. so the limits arent working. Even in i put a limit in each MAC on the bypass section, it still doesnt work
