I'm going through the definitive guide and the book expains to use a dedicated vlan capable nic.
However, I would like to use my LAN (em0) nic as my VLAN NIC for my DMZ as well. Is this possible?

Usually em-drivers is for intel nics right?, then i think that should work.
but don't assign ip for physical interface, assign ip's for vlans
