What wireless device…

I have a noname box with 3 ethernet ports and 2 USB ports. Let us call them et0 et1 and et2.
et0 is for LAN with IP 192.168.1.1 /24
et1 is empty.
et2 is to WANI would like to create a wireless network with the same DHCP etc as my LAN network (bridge).
It can be a USB device or an Ethernet device that doesn't matter, it should just be normal range and hold up to 8-10 wireless devices at the same time.
Its signal must be at least as good as my old router which is this:

If you want to have only the best, then you should use cisco aironet 1200 series devices
but if you have limited budget, you can use buffalos, apples or whatever devices what you like and make sure that those understand ap-mode. -
You could add a USB WLAN stick to your box and configure it as an Access Point.
I've had good results with TP-Link TL-W321G and Tenda W311U, both of which are supported in pfSense 2.0 snapshot builds. I have no idea if they are at least as good as your old router but the price is good. -
I do not need the best of the best. It should just barely be able to manage it, but still be stable.

I'm rather fond of my Asus RT-N16 that I've got running Tomato.
It's a little pricey (~$90), but it's got a gig switch on the back of it and runs well.
I hear it's little brother (RT-N12) is good as well, but not quite as beefy. It's only around $40.
I needed N-rate wireless for my TiVos to transfer shows back and forth. I have a little ALIX as a WAP for other stuff and it's nice and all, but doesn't stand up to those speeds. :-)

Does the Cisco AIR-PI21AG-A-K9 PCI card work with pfSense? They are all over ebay around the $30 pricepoint. Seems like a pretty robust PCI solution.

http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,28785.0.html would suggest that it might, but it doesn't look like that person was very successful. Searching on that part number plus FreeBSD, or pfSense, turns up several hits.

Thanks for the reply. I have searched but I also have not found much that is either recent or relating to 2.0 RC3.
I have had poor luck with 4 or 5 PCI, PCIe and USB cards so far and I'd like to find something that works as a simple access point with what I already own - or confirm 100% that a card will work on 2.0 RC3 prior to purchasing.
I will try to search more specific in the future.
