Demande explication sur le log



  • Salut à vous j' utilise le pfsense 1.2.3 mais je constate que ce message apparaît trop dans mon log.
    Pourrais-je avoir une explication:

    That means some utility put the network card into "promiscuous mode" - a mode where it can receive every packet on the interface in order to monitor traffic. This is normal if you are using utilities like tcpdump.

    If you see a lot of messages repeatedly filling up your logs, this is a harmless (but spammy) side effect of how the Rate package operates. The Rate functionality built into pfSense 2.0 does not do this.
