I'm trying to run pfSense in Hyper-V on Server 2008 R2 (no SP1).  I can't get it to boot no matter what, it crashes really quickly while installing, and I have tried booting without ACPI as well.  I have tried using legacy network adapters.  I have attached an image of the error.

It's running on a "server" which is an AMD 4400+ with an Asus M2N-E motherboard.  This is a charity project or else I'd just ditch the hardware and run it on something proper.  Want to consolidate my router into a VM so I can ditch a crappy linksys RV042 which is problematic.

Same problem with 2.0-RELEASE. Any progression on this yet?

                HP ProLiant N36L Microserver
AMD Athlon II Neo N36L Dual-Core Processor 1.30 GHz
                8.00 GB RAM
                64-bit Window Server 2008 R2 Standard with SP1

Running a virtual Windows Server on it in Hyper-V as well without any problems.

PfSense will run just fine on the same OS on my Proliants with Intel procs.

I am having the same error. And the only conclusion i came into was that AMD cpus is causing that trouble.
