Transparent Bridge under VMWare (RC3)

Hi all

I've been scratching my brains out over how to get this working….

After following the instructions http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,39949.0.html and http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,39977.0.html - for some reason it still didn't work......it turned out to be a setting with vmware it's self, on each vmSwitch.

Under the Configuration tab for the server host, select Networking on the left hand side, then click properties on the vswitch/adapter. This will open "vSwitchx Properties" (x being a number), select the vSwitch then hit "Edit", under the Security tab change "Promiscuous Mode" to "Accept".......the bridge will now work  ;D
